At last it seems the weather is warming up and the trails are drying out. The time is right to brush up your mountain skills ready for the summer.

In this mountain biking focused issue we are delighted to announce the launch our new backcountry mountain bike leadership skills and beginners mountain bike skills courses.

Last month the coaching team here as Astounding Adventures enjoyed a well earned winter break, but despite this there's been plenty going on to talk about.

The New Year saw our latest competition launched in partnership with Cicerone Press, Harvey Maps and Paramo and we've also had lots of positive press coverage for our mountain bike skills courses. On top at that we've revamped our Adventure Race Skills courses for 2010.

We've now published our Spring/Summer programme so why not come along and brush up your mountain, bike or rock skills ready for when the nights get shorter and the sun makes a eagerly anticipated return.

Despite the wet weather November was a busy month for Astounding Adventures with courses running in seven locations around the country.

With the quieter Winter months now upon us, thoughts are turning to the Spring and our new Mountain Bike Coaching Programme. This is a very exciting development for us as we are well aware of the demand out there for a end-to-end coaching programme that takes the guesswork out of becoming a singletrack expert.
