Peak District Rock
Course description
Spending a day climbing in the great outdoors can be a highly enjoyable experience and where better to take in some routes than the crags of The Peak District National Park.
Our Peak District climbing day will show you some of the best crags the area has to offer and you'll be safe in the knowledge that you will at all times be under the supervision of a fully qualified climbing coach.
The course will take place at crags no more than half an hours walk from a nearby road. The walk in will be easy and relaxed.
Peak District climbing days are held regularly between April and September.
Typical programme
Although climbing days are flexible they will usually keep to the following programme:
- 9:00-9:30 Arrival at course venue
- 9:30-10:00 Introductions and equipment check
- 10:00-13:00 Supervised climbing
- 13:00-14:30 Lunch and relocation to second crag
- 14:30-17:00 Supervised climbing
- 17:00 Course ends

No experience is required. We'll we'll match the difficulty to the group.
Preparation and fitness
The good news is that you don't have to be ultra-fit to get the most out of this course.
We'll be climbing for up to six hours, but not continuously as half the time we'll be belaying climbing partners.
