Surrey Hills Killer Loop
Ride description
The ride will set off through the Denbies Wine Estate; amazingly europe's biggest Vineyard in single ownership. We'll take in The Rookery, Leith Hill, Holmbury Hill, Peaslake, Pitch Hill, Winterfold Wood, and Shere, before returning via the North Downs or, alternatively, the proposed route of National Cycle Network 22.
We'll stop for an hour for lunch at The Volunteer and we'll also have the option to stop for refreshments at Coldharbour, Leith Hill Tower and Peaslake Village Stores.
Typical programme
Although guided rides are flexible they will usually keep to the following programme:
- 09:30-10:00 Arrival at ride venue, introductions and equipment check
- 10:00-17:00 Guided ride (with a hour stop for lunch)
- 17:00 Ride ends

Previous experience
You must be a competent off-road mountain biker able to ride with confidence and commitment.
You will get the most out of the ride if you have already attended a Core Skills course.
Preparation and fitness
You will need to be able to ride off road for up to 6-7 hours although there will be ample opportunities for short breaks.
Equipment required
Please refer to our equipment page for a complete list.
You won't need to carry tools, a trailside repair kit or a first aid kit as your guide will have all of these.
