Preparation and fitness
The good news is that you don't have to be ultra-fit to get the most out of this course.
We will be riding our bikes for about four hours, though not constantly and at an easy pace.
We will be stopping regularly to coach different skills.
Consolidation and practice
We recommend that you take what you've learned straight out on the trail and practice navigating in a forest or moorland environment.
Deliberately get lost occasionally and amaze your friends with your new homing instincts.
Equipment required
Please refer to our equipment page for a complete list.
You won't need to carry tools, a trailside repair kit or a first aid kit as your coach will have all of these.
